1. About CarLink
CarLink is an advertising platform. We introduce buyers to sellers; we are not a party to any sale, we do not own the vehicles listed, and we do not handle payments between buyers and sellers.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Google sign-in secure.
3. Listing rules
- List only vehicles you own or are authorised to sell
- Describe the vehicle accurately, including its condition and mileage
- Use photographs of the actual vehicle
- Provide a working Kenyan phone number of exactly ten digits
- Do not post duplicate listings for the same vehicle
- Mark the listing as sold once the vehicle is sold
4. Prohibited content
Stolen vehicles, misleading prices, contact details hidden in photographs or descriptions, abusive comments and spam are not permitted. We may remove listings or comments and suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Comments
You own what you write, but you grant us permission to display it on the listing. You may edit or delete your own comments; you may not edit or delete anyone else's. Moderators may hide or remove comments that breach these terms.
6. Buying safely
Inspect vehicles in person and verify ownership documents before parting with money. CarLink does not inspect, verify or guarantee any vehicle listed.
7. Liability
The platform is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, CarLink is not liable for losses arising from a transaction between a buyer and a seller.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site.
